Muscular System

Maintaining an active muscular system is critical in providing proper motion in the body. In fact, motion is an essential function that results from contraction and relaxation of muscles.

Even though our bones and joints play a major role in body’s framework,  by themselves they cannot move. Muscular system consists of highly specialized cells and tissues that are responsible for almost all forms of movements, as well as mainains posture in the human body.

Most importantly, muscular system generates heat. It is estimated that 75% of the energy produced to power muscles escapes as heat. This byprodcut of muscle activity is vital in maintaining body heat.

A healthy and active muscular system must receive optimum nutrition one a regular basis. Supporting the digestive system as in enzymes will help the macro and micro-nutrients to be absorbed.

Promoting adequate bloodflow or improving microcirculation will deliver nutrients to the muscle cells. Additional nutrients are minerals, antioxidants, and electron transport.
